Father's Day

I  never quite know what to do, especially since we've stopped adding children so no need to update his t-shirts. ;-/

This year my friend Karla posted some pictures of gift bags with decorative drawn on (or somehow crafted on) ties on them, so that gave me an idea.

I bought some plain gift bags; each kiddo had their own color. Then they decorated them with different sticky shapes, even using sticky letters for "writing" Daddy & their own names.

They each had a different gift for him, somewhat relevant to each child. Big Guy has severe autism, & Hubs helps him with his hygiene, so he gave Hubs a new razor.

Storyman has trouble with having to wait for Hub's service whenever something happens to his laptop (mine takes priority ;-)). His mouse broke so he's been without it for a while, so as a kind of gag he gave Hubs a new kinda cool like mouse. (I also got a basic one for Storyman LOL).

Butterfly is not the most vain 10yr old girl, but this was tough so he got a few nice natural soaps he likes from her, & also a new hand mirror for shaving since the old one broke. That worked.

Little Bear's autism is also more on the severe side, & he enjoys stimming with long &/or stringy-like things. So from Little Bear Hubs received the obligatory Father's Day new tie. He also got a few new pairs of casual dress socks that he needed. :)

The twins are still in that cutesie sweet stage, for the most part, so I thought they should give him some snacks. There's a brand of natural snacks he really likes, crackers & cookies... they chose appropriately. They also each gave him some yummy natural chocolate that he likes.

Hubs seemed quite surprised & pleased with everything.

He typically watches the US Open so other than that it was a quiet day for us.

Oh, &, I didn't get him anything, because, I already had... six someone's to be exact. ;-)
